UNU is participating in the program for capacity development in Global Earth Observation System of Systems program, especially on the one related to Asian Water Cycle Project. Under this project a capacity development program for use of satellite information for flood management is being prepared. About 20 basins from all over Asia are expected to undertake studies related to Asian Water Cycle project and they will serve as fields for training program.
